Hours of Operation
Appomattox Animal Hospital is not a 24-hour facility and does not provide overnight staffing or monitoring outside of normal business hours.

Our regular business hours are:
Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Closed weekends and major holidays

Hospitalized or boarding patients remaining in the hospital after business hours will not have continuous overnight supervision.
Emergency & Urgent Appointments
If your pet is experiencing a medical emergency during business hours, please call ahead so our team can assess availability and prepare for your arrival.

While we make every effort to accommodate urgent and emergency cases, additional wait times should be expected.

Some emergencies may require referral to a dedicated emergency hospital depending on the severity of the condition, staffing availability, or hospital capacity.
